Running
I injured my left hand earlier this year and could not do boxing or workout properly for a while, so I started running more instead. One thing led to another and I signed up for a marathon.
I've always done a bit of running here and there (2 half marathons along the way), but never taken it seriously. This year feels like the right time to change that.
The marathon is in La Rochelle (where I grew up), which is a good reason to go back and run 42km through the streets I cycled around as a kid. I am building up to it with a 10k in London in April and a half marathon in the autumn.
I am also fundraising for the British Heart Foundation. Heart disease has affected my family directly, and it felt like the right cause for this. If you want to support, you can donate here.
The races
- Battersea Park 10k 4 April 2026, London
- Hackney Half Autumn 2026, London (spot TBC)
- Marathon de La Rochelle 29 November 2026, La Rochelle
